HGV 1 AND HGV 2 DRIVERS TILBURY

Grafters recruit are looking for multiple committed ongoing HGV1 and HGV2 Drivers to work for one of our well established companies in Tilbury on ongoing roles.

The company runs multiple contracts varying from Class 1 and 2 .

HGV1 Drivers

The role will be driving either containers or curtainsiders across the UK, The company runs multiple contracts however specialises In mainly the delivery of wine and beers.

Driver will be expected to make anywhere between 1 – 4 drops and will typically for forklifted on or off however at times may be expected to use a pump truck for the deliveries.

Start times will vary between 04.00 – 08.00 running Monday – Friday.

HGV2 Day  Driver

The company runs multiple contracts however specialises In mainly the delivery of wine and beers to local pubs and establishments. Will be expected to make anywhere between 3 – 7 drops and may be expected to use a pump truck for the deliveries.

Start times will vary between 05.00 – 08.00 Monday – Friday.

HGV2 Night Drivers

The driver will be loading cages from our depot in Tilbury onto a rigid vehicle to deliver to 3-4 stores a night, sometimes they will complete a double run depending on the counts and stores. The cages will be loaded with tools, paints, pipes and other DIY items, each is labelled up for the relevant store, the driver loads the required amount onto their vehicle and delivers to the store. There is a profile for each store in their pack detailing where abouts the deliveries are, how to access the site securely with the right keys and fobs (as these deliveries are through the night AKA. TTN and no one will be on site to assist)

Start times will vary between 18.00 – 21.30 Monday – Friday.

Pay Rate – £14.50 – £16.00

Driver must have

– Full UK Licence with valid Digi & CPC Card

– Minimum 6 months experience

– Good level of communication

– maximum 6 points for minor offences
