Grafters Recruit are looking for 20+ warehouse operatives to assist our busy client in the Stoke on Trent area. As an Operative your job will be to accurately assemble components into high specification electronic cabling. This includes cable preparation through soldering and crimping techniques, cutting and stripping cable to correct measurements, heat shrinking using a heat gun and the use of test meters and other test equipment. A full-time position will be offered after 12 weeks and will be with a regular fixed working pattern Monday to Friday.

Pay Rate – National Minimum wage.

The client work 4.5 days a week 08:00-16:50 Mon-Thu & 08:00 -12:10 Fridays.

The shift patterns are flexible and also allow the following start and finish times:

Mon-Thur 07:00 -15:50 and Fri 07:00-11:10.

During this shift candidates will be allowed 2x 10-minute breaks which are paid. And in addition to this, candidates are given a 30-minute lunch break, which is not paid.

Successful candidates will be asked to attend an induction briefing, which will determine if the candidate has the skills and patient for the tasks at hand. They will be given ongoing training and support as well so that they can pick things up and also have a choice of what side of the factory they might like to work in as they have a few departments to choose from.

The role is not very physical but it does require mental skill, a lot of attention to detail and commitment.
