We are recruiting on behalf of one of our established clients for a Transport Administrator who is enthusiastic, hard-working, organised and prepared to pay a high level of attention to detail.

The hours for this role are Monday – Friday 0800 – 1700 but the ideal candidate will need to be flexible regarding working hours.

Job Duties

  • Driver briefing and debriefing
  • Maintaining vehicle and driver records on the internal database
  • Dealing with Driver hours / Tacho downloads / Infringements
  • Driver inductions
  • Ensuring drivers DVLA checks are up to date
  • Prepare customer paperwork
  • Producing all drivers paperwork
  • Fleet Management/Mots/Services
  • Plan, manage and adjust resource levels to meet operational requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Transport/Logistics experience within a recent, similar role is essential
  • Good at information seeking and handling
  • Able to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills including polite telephone manner
